Blog Summary #1

Do i understand leisure in my life? Do i value leisure? Is my leisure constrained? So many question yet so much blog space... wait... thats a good thing ;)

Is my leisure time( no wait, not time) , Is my Leisure contrained? i think my answer to that would have to be yes for alot of the time for example (Sept 11th,2008)-just finished checking the weather network and look at that, it's going to rain all weekend.. I was looking forward to saturday morning i was going to hike up mont-st-Bruno with my girlfriend... Now what am i going to do...- That day after looking at the weather and seeing that it was going to be a horrible day my plans were all shot up in the air. Yet when that day that i was looking forward to came around it was a beautiful day (Sept 13th,2008)-You know as well as me.. look outside, its a beautiful day so i did end up going up to the mountain and it was amazing....It also means that im going to go for a nice boat ride to end this beautiful afternoon!- So i can see how my leisure could be constrained but i have to contradict myself by saying that it all depends on what kind of mood i'm in, i could spend some leisurely time sitting inside my house reading a good car magazine on a rainy day and believe it or not have a great "Flow" experience.

I think my leisure can be constaraied , in the end i would be the one constraining it because i am the one thinking of what i really want to do.

I think i am begining to understand lesiure and my life and how it is important. On Sept 15th,2008 a new kind of leisure was brought into my life,-Wow.... i don't know what to say... today was one of the most wonderful days of my life... my brother wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl... Megan her name is... i have had a smile on my face all day.- It's a kind of leisure i never thought i could experience, everytime i see her i look at all the things we are going to concer in our lives together... That really was a true new understanding of leisure...

Do i value leisure... Good question. I think i do value leisure and although i have not really touched too much about it in my blogs so far it is something i will take into consideration in my upcomming blogs. Everyone should value their leisure, its a state of mind that is just so pleasent and "Fun". I say to people that think leisure is all fun and games,

DAMN RIGHT IT IS SO GET OUT AND HAVE FUN!!!!!

New season!

This is one of those times that makes me wonder what my job really is considered.

During the summer i work as a co-ordinator of a day camp( i also do all the Canadiens golf tournements and other community Relations Events).

When the season starts i have the most amazing job of helping Community Relations(C.R) organize events with both players and under privaledged children. Also during games nights i work for the Montreal Canadiens Children foundation is selling jersey, shirts, pictures, frames , sticks etc... where all profits go to the foundation. I am going into my second season and i have to tell you everytime i get there , there isnt one day that it really feels like work.

GO HABS GO!

Cheers
